Latin Rhythms
Latin Rhythms Kids
We are thrilled to announce a brand-new addition to our schedule designed specifically for our Juvenile/Primary dancers (ages 6–12).
Discover Latin Dances is the perfect entry point for young students to explore the vibrant world of Latin movement. In this class, we move beyond just steps to focus on the fundamental structures and rhythms that make Latin dance so unique.
What your dancer will learn:
-
Rhythm & Ear Training: Distinguishing between the beats of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue.
-
Solo Foundations: Mastering basic footwork and body coordination without the complexity of a partner.
-
Creative Choreography: Learning fun, age-appropriate routines that build confidence and memory.
-
Cultural Connection: Understanding the roots of these dances through movement.
Why Solo First?
At this developmental stage, we focus on building a strong individual foundation. By mastering balance, timing, and solo movements now, students will be much more successful when we introduce our Partner Dancing curriculum in the future.

We are excited to introduce a new class designed for adults who have always wanted to explore the energy, rhythm, and joy of Latin dance in a fun, supportive environment.
Discover Latin Dances is the perfect place to begin, whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or looking to build a stronger foundation. Together, we'll explore the unique rhythms and movement styles that make Latin dance so exciting.
What you'll learn:
-
Rhythm & Musicality: Learn to recognize and move confidently to the rhythms of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue.
-
Solo Foundations: Develop balance, coordination, body movement, and footwork at your own pace.
-
Fun Choreography: Put your new skills into practice with easy-to-follow combinations that build confidence and technique.
-
Cultural Connection: Discover the rich history and traditions behind each dance style while enjoying the music that brings them to life.
Why Start Solo?
Learning individually allows you to focus on timing, technique, and body awareness without the added challenge of a partner. By building a strong foundation first, you'll feel more confident and prepared if you choose to continue into partner dancing in the future.
No partner or previous dance experience is required—just bring comfortable shoes and a willingness to have fun!
