BEGINNERS 101 With some Experience - Alegrías
Format: Online and/or In-person Class
Prerequisites: Completion of the Intro to Flamenco course OR equivalent experience, including knowledge of the 12-count rhythm (compás).

Class Attire
What should I wear to Flamenco Class?
SKIRT LOOK
Students should wear a long skirt and a leotard. Flamenco Dresses are also a great option
Hair must be pulled back and away from the face.
If you do not have flamenco shoes, wear any shoes Mary Jane Style or boots without rubber at the bottom
PANTS LOOK
Wear comfortable pants and any shirt you are comfortable with. Vest are encouraged but not mandatory.

Flamenco 60+ LEVEL II
Format: In-person Class
Prerequisites: Must have taken Discover flamenco or have previous flamenco dance knowledge including 12 count. At least 1.5 years of flamenco dance experience needed.

Flamenco Guitar
Flamenco Guitar with José Chirinos
We will have a short session of flamenco guitar classes with José Chirinos. This class is designed for people who know how to play the guitar but have no flamenco experience. The goal is to get new students ready to jump into the fall classes with the main group.

Class Attire
What to wear for Flamenco Class?
SKIRT LOOK
Students should wear a long skirt and a form fitting top.
PANTS LOOK
Wear comfortable pants and any shirt you are comfortable with. Vest are encouraged but not mandatory.
HAIR
Hair must be pulled back and away from the face.
SHOES
If you do not have flamenco shoes, wear any medium heel, closed tip shoes. No stilettos or tennis shoes please. Character shoes are ok for beginner students.
